Accessibility and Inclusion Matters

What is accessibility? Accessibility is the practice of making information, activities, and/or environments sensible, meaningful, and usable for as many people as possible. “Accessible” means a person with a disability is provided with the opportunity to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services as a person without a disability in an equally effective and equally integrated manner, with substantially equivalent ease of use.

At EMBRACE 2 Learn Inc., we believe accessibility and inclusion are not just legal requirements—they’re powerful drivers of innovation, equity, and sustainable growth. Did you know there are over 100 disabilities internationally recognized? This consists of different types including mobility, blind, partially blind, deaf, hard of hearing, cognitive/intellectual, learning, neurodivergent, neurological, and mental health-related disabilities. Some disabilities may be present from birth (i.e., permanent, temporary, or episodic), while others may be acquired later in life due to illness or injury. Our Accessibility and Inclusion Services are designed to support businesses, institutions, communities, and public sector organizations to create environments – physical, digital, and ethically – where everyone can fully participate, including people with visible and invisible disabilities.

Whether you’re navigating complex accessibility legislation or striving to build a more inclusive workplace, our team brings lived experience, deep expertise, and award-winning solutions that align with your business goals.

The Power of Disability Inclusion

People with disabilities represent over 1 billion individuals globally – including 1 in 5 Canadians (Statistics Canada, 2023).  This is a vital, talented, and growing demographic that your organization cannot afford to overlook.

At EMBRACE 2 Learn Inc., we advocate removing these barriers—not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because inclusion fuels creativity, loyalty, and growth. When accessibility is embedded into the fabric of an organization, everyone benefits.

Each service is grounded in real-world experience and built through an accessibility-first lens. Whether you’re just starting your accessibility journey or looking to strengthen your business efforts, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Through Michelle as the Founder of EMBRACE 2 Learn Inc., I have shifted how I, as a non-disabled person, view the disabled. I no longer see the “dis” and instead focus on the “abled”. When one person can shift your frame of reference, that’s inspirational!
